Witness the Live Recording of Unscripted: Artists Outside the Frame

“Unscripted: Artists Outside the Frame” is a new, community-centered media arts initiative amplifying Long Island artists through inclusive storytelling. Held during Jennifer A. Uihlein’s solo photography exhibition, Narratives in Motion: The Evolution of a Storyteller at The Firefly Artists in Northport, the program features live-recorded Q&A sessions visible from the gallery’s front window. Artists from diverse backgrounds—including neurodiverse, immigrant, emerging, seasoned, you name it —share their creative journeys, fostering inter-generational dialogue and community connection.

On Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, Uihlein will be recording, live from the window gallery at The Firefly Artists, Season 1 of the soon-to-be-launched vodcast, a project dedicated to amplifying Long Island’s diverse art community through inclusive storytelling. Some artists scheduled to appear include, Kevin Champeny, Catalin Giurcanu, Susan Tiffen, Robert Hendrick, Ricardo Labarca, Lusen Zhou, Gregg Klewicki,Evan Campenella and Faye Graber.
