VIRTUAL/IN-PERSON: Stanford White: Architecture of the American Renaissance
Stanford White was once the most fashionable architect of what was called the American Renaissance, designing a vast variety of buildings, many of which still exist, and others, like Madison Square Garden, have been demolished. On our virtual tour, we will visit all his most significant designs. The speaker is Sylvia Laudien-Meo. This is a Zoom presentation that will be shown in the library or can be viewed from home. In-person viewing: No registration required. For additional information, please call the library or visit our website.
