Uptown Unites

Hate crimes in the United States rose in 2020 to the highest level in 12 years, with a significant increase in number of anti-Asian and anti-Black hate crimes. With the increase of violence across the city, Women’s Empire is looking forward to leveraging this opportunity as a path to reducing hate violence and promoting community respect.

On Wednesday, December 21st, from 6 – 8pm at 1345 Gun Hill Road, Bronx, NY 10469, we will have experienced facilitators, interactive games, activities, and resources for the community. This event is free and open to the public with prizes and giveaway items for all attendees. This event is sponsored by the Office for the Prevention of Hate Crimes.
