Townwide Fund of Huntington’s Springtime Stroll at Oheka Castle

Preparations are now underway for an incredible night at the Townwide Fund of Huntington’s immersive Springtime Stroll at Oheka Castle on Thursday June 1^st. It won’t be like any event you’ve ever attended!

The Springtime Stroll will engage the senses with entertainment and fine food and drink throughout the main floor, spilling out onto the great lawn overlooking the majestic gardens at Oheka. Photo opps will abound, starting with an amazing floral display at the famed staircase and extending through the various rooms and the vast lawn.

The Springtime Stoll will honor four amazing individuals who make our Town a better place for all: Christina and Barbara Zoitas from Southdown Marketplace and Mark and Karen Heuwetter from Six Harbors Brewery.  Join us as we celebrate their years of service to our community!

What better way to enjoy the springtime than watching the sunset while sipping cocktails on the great lawn? Or, you may prefer enjoying tunes from a strolling accordionist with a top flight bourbon as you watch cigars being expertly rolled. A few steps away, a famous illusionist will baffle guests with amazing feats that seem impossible, except they happen right in front of you. Take a stroll down memory lane with a guitarist who knows every song you ever sang along to – even those you’ve long forgotten – as you and your friends enjoy the gentle breezes of early spring.

For those who prefer their entertainment indoors, there will be ballroom dance lessons in the grand ballroom, auction items, great raffles and even a live piano player in the bar area.

At the Springtime Stroll Gala, guests will find tables set up indoors and outdoors to enjoy the entirety of the castle and its grounds while enjoying a host of strolling entertainers. There will be so much to see and do, and most important of all, it will all happen while raising money to help our neighbors in need.
