Three of Long Island’s leading educational institutions—SUNY Old Westbury, Hofstra University, and Nassau Community College —are joining forces to host the inaugural Social Innovation Summit on Saturday, November 8, 2025. This intensive, one-day pilot program is designed to act as a powerful engine for change, empowering mission-driven businesses and non-profit organizations to tackle their most pressing operational and business challenges.

This event takes place at SUNY Old Westbury in the NAB Building, Room 1100.

The concept behind the summit is simple: to pool the vast intellectual resources and creativity of the three institutions to develop innovative, feasible, and sustainable solutions for community organizations.

Non-profit and mission-driven businesses that attend will work directly with dedicated faculty and expert guest speakers from SUNY Old Westbury, Hofstra, and NCC. These specialists will be on hand throughout the day to ensure maximum productivity and effective outcomes, helping organizations walk away with concrete strategies for growth and stability.

This pilot program is a commitment by the partner institutions to ensure that local community and mission-driven organizations benefit directly from the high-level expertise available within the academic community.
