Shirley Jones and Howard Keel: Great Voices Series

Two of the greatest talents of film musicals in the 1950s were Shirley Jones and Howard Keel. Prior to her outstanding dramatic work, Shirley appeared as the female lead in the film version of two of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s greatest shows, Oklahoma and Carousel. Meanwhile, Howard was starring in film musicals, such as Annie Get Your Gun, Show Boat, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Kiss Me Kate. Richard Knox presents.
