Poems of Arrival (In-Person Workshop)

Join author and poet Ramya Ramana for this guided workshop, exploring the question: How do we arrive, with language, towards a place of safety, surrender; a home? Through this generative writing prompt, we will investigate themes of returning and arrival. We will read and discuss poets like Mary Oliver, Wendell Berry and others. This will be a safe space for writers of all levels to engage and leave with a poem-home of their very own. Hosted by Emma Clark Library.
Tuesday, April 8, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Click here to register.
Ramya Ramana is an award-winning American author, poet and lyricist, including the winner of the Youth Poet Laureate of New York City.
