Parishes of Transfiguration and St. Stanislaus Anniversaries

In 2019 the Parishes of Transfiguration and St. Stanislaus merged into one parish.

St. Stanislaus Kostka’s first pastor was installed in 1872. Transfiguration Parish was established in 1908, dedicating its current church location on Perry Avenue in 1962.

Both parishes have served the needs of our local community and the people of the parish for a combined 266 years and it is our hope that we may continue to serve as one parish.  On April 22nd, we will be celebrating these milestones which will include an Anniversary mass, dinner dance and souvenier journal.  A special Anniversary souvenier journal will be issued to commerate the event.  We hope the community will join us in celebrating at this wonderful Gala and/or include their message in our extraordinary journal.  Please call the rectory for ticket and journal ad information at 718-326-2185.
