Nowruz Classical Music Ensemble featuring Katayoun, presented by SHAI and the Great Neck Library

Come join us to celebrate the Iranian new year (Nowruz) at the Great Neck Library, Featuring Katayoun Moosazadeh (Vocals), Shahriar Koroori (Daf), Hedayat Shafiee (Tar), Parisa Karimi (Kamancheh), Arieh Aghajani (Santoor), and Hamidreza Maleki (Barbat). Moderated by Shahruz Shahery of SHAI.

Founded in 1992, SHAI has since its inception been dedicated to supporting Persian Jewish families’ and individuals’ preservation of our proud three-millennial cultural heritage; obtaining educations while embracing positive acculturation in the United States. SHAI partners with local institutions, such as Schools, Synagogues, Libraries, Park Districts, and the Town of North Hempstead, to educate and support the community and engages Persian Jews of all ages in multiple Youth, Young Families, Young Professionals, Star Singles, and Seniors events.
