North Shore Hebrew Academy Art Exhibit at the Great Neck Library

The Great Neck Library is exhibiting artworks from the North Shore Hebrew Academy from May 5, 2025, to May 29, 2025, at our Main Library Lover-Level Art Gallery, 159 Bayview Avenue, Great Neck. We welcome you to come and join us for an art reception on Monday 5, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
The theme for this exhibit is “Creative Connections”. At North Shore Hebrew Academy (NSHA), students benefit from a well-rounded fine arts program where they study a variety of artists, some of whom are Jewish and center their work on their religion. In “Creative Connections” student artwork will be present from grades 1-8 interpreting their relationship with Judaism and the world around them. Some of the works are inspired by artist studies, holidays and the Judaic and secular studies curriculum at NSHA.
Engaging NSHA elementary and middle school students in meaningful learning through the study of heritage, culture, and holidays is the goal of their art program. NSHA welcomes the Great Neck and broader community to explore how arts education provides a creative opportunity for connecting and reinforcing their mission of being students of the Jewish and global world around us.
