Learn how to press flowers in a press kit and display in a glass frame. If you don’t purchase the Flower Press, you will be able to use one in the class.

Flowers will be provided but you can also bring your own flowers from your garden or bouquet.

Lauren will go over: composition, color, which flowers would turn out good being pressed, how to press them to look the best, how long to leave them in the kit, how to remove them after they are done being pressed to put in a frame, talk about flowers in each season and variety throughout the year.

Lauren is fascinated by seashells and has turned this love into her brand, Le Gaudere. Starting from her childhood, Lauren spent years collecting seashells in buckets, following the tides, and sifting through seashell piles looking for the ones that caught her eye.

Many years and buckets of seashells later, she brings to the Nest these collections, inspired by our surroundings, preserving its natural beauty while making it into something new. She is now creating textiles and pressed flowers as well.
