New Children’s Book Reading & Signing by Fire Island Authors

We’ve launched our beautiful new children’s book “Butterfly Island and the Invincible Crew” for ages 5-9 join us in engaging kids to spring outdoors and discover the extraordinary connection between milkweed and monarch butterflies! Inspired by a true story, young readers can learn about monarch conservation and recovery efforts after environmental storm losses replacing despair with hope in action.

Ellen Federico is a writer, speaker, and a certified Monarch Butterfly conservationist, who maintains sustainable habitats on Fire Island, New York.
