Lindenhurst Historical Society celebrates the 1901 Restored LIRR Depot and Freight House Museum’s 50th Anniversary with a Community Picnic, Sunday May 18, 2025

On Sunday, May 18, 2025 from noon to 4PM, the Lindenhurst Historical Society’s will celebrate the 1901 Restored LIRR Depot and Freight House Museum’s 50th Anniversary with a “Community Picnic” on the Great Lawn at Irmisch Historical Park (intersection of South Broadway and South 3^rd Street).  All are invited to attend and enjoy an afternoon of festivities commemorating our community’s railroad history including music, museum tours, a variety of food trucks, a model train display, raffles and lawn games and sack races for the children.  For more information, please email lindenhursthistoricalsociety@gmail.com.
