Intellectual Property Basics: Protect Your Ideas
Whether an entrepreneur, artist, writer or musician, you may be able to claim ownership of your idea or work. Volunteers from the City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project (NELP) will answer questions about what you can protect, the difference between trademarks, copyrights and patents, and the limits to your legal rights.
Presented in partnership with Brooklyn Public Library Business & Career Center, Brooklyn SBDC and NELP.
