Historic Clubhouse Tours

NYS Parks Long Island Environmental Education will host a family program at Connetquot River State Park Preserve, 4090 Sunrise Highway, Oakdale from 1-3 p.m. A docent will discuss the history of the tavern and the high society Club which shaped the park into what it is today! Tours of the historic Nicoll Grist Mill are included and will be offered after the house tour. Cost: $4/person. For details, call (631) 581-1005.
