The Moon is Coming to Long Island!
Have you ever seen a 20-ft, glowing, 3D moon floating above your head? Now’s your chance!  The Cathedral of the Incarnation is presenting renowned UK artist Luke Jerram’s breathtaking Museum of the Moon, (April 12–May 3, 2025) marking its first-ever installation inside a U.S. house of worship! Using detailed NASA imagery, this stunning exhibit transforms the Cathedral into a celestial masterpiece.

But that’s not all…
In celebration of this event, the Cathedral is launching its first-ever gallery in the undercroft! The debut installation features “moon-themed” works, launching with the exhibit, Illuminations: Art in Sacred Space,  featuring works by celebrated by Long Island artists – Bob Hendrick, Jennifer A. Uihlein, Drigo Morin, and Susan Tiffen—an inspiring fusion of art, faith, and the cosmos.
The Illuminations: Art in Sacred Space, gallery opening will be held on Saturday, April 12th at 7 PM at the Cathedral of the Incarnation.  No charge for admission; however, RSVP via email is required: connect@IncarnationGC.org  Light refreshments will be available.
