First Friday: Flutissimo! Flute Quartet & Pianist Aglaia Savalas Messina

Celebrate First Friday at The Heckscher! Explore the exhibitions during extended viewing hours from 5 – 8:30 pm and enjoy special performances beginning at 7 pm.

Flutissimo! is comprised of four talented Long Island flutists who are dedicated to presenting exciting and varied programs, classical to contemporary, on traditional C flutes, piccolo, alto, and bass flutes.

Guest Pianist Aglaia Savalas Messina has performed in Europe and the United States, including concerts at the Manhattan School of Music, WQXR, and Carnegie Recital Hall, as well as various churches and libraries on Long Island. She is a highly respected piano teacher in the Huntington area as well as a much-sought-after accompanist.
