Mark your calendars for an action-packed weekend of fall fun at the Long Island Family Festival. This fun-filled family event will take place at beautiful Tanner Park, Copiague from Friday, September 13 through Sunday, September 15 (rain date Oct 11-13)! With FREE admission, this is the perfect way to spend quality time with family, friends, and even your pets!

During the weekend, the park will be magically transformed into a festival wonderland, featuring something for everyone with plenty of surprises around every corner.

Festival Highlights include:

· A thrilling carnival with rides for all ages

· Great live music all weekend long

· Ocean View Art, Craft & Gift Show where vendors will showcase their products and services

· The incredible Pet Expo in the Park with exciting performances at the Dog Performance Arena

· Custom car shows with a dazzling display of custom vehicles along the bay

· Tanner Jam Skateboard Competition

· The anticipated “Corky’s International Haute Couture Canine Fashion Show” on Saturday

· Rolling Raoke the Premier Mobile Karaoke and DJ Lounge

· The energetic Long Island Family Festival Drum & Bugle Show

· Fun-Filled Human Hamster Ball Races

· Ventriloquist Jack Stein and his friendly puppets, including Veteran Wally and Simba the Sheepdog

· The Copiague Chamber of Commerce Raffle Basket Table, with great prizes up for grabs

What’s New This Year?

For the first time ever, the festival is proud to introduce the LI Family Festival Truck Show on Saturday (11am – 10pm) hosted by NY Tow Trucks for Families. This will be an experience like no other with a display of the hottest trucks around. As part of this exciting addition, the world’s largest truck light-up show will take place at 8pm in honor of Derek Eide who sadly lost his life this year. It will be an incredible display as trucks illuminate the night sky in an unforgettable display!

Competitions:

For those who love competition, don’t miss the exciting Pizza Eating Contest and the Children’s Corn Husking Competition, where kids will put their husking skills to the test!

Music will Fill the Air

Catch live performances from talented local acts at the Seashell Show Mobiles, featuring bands like Crossing Sunrise, 20 Highview, and the always-popular Rockin’ 45’s!

A Pet Fashion Extravaganza!

Bring your furry four-legged or feathered family members for a weekend they won’t forget. One of the highlights of the event is Corky’s International Canine Haute Couture Fashion Show, where dogs and other pets will strut their stuff in the latest fashionista trends from around the world. This is a must-see for any animal lover!

Shop, Eat, and Explore

With a wide variety of arts & crafts, retail vendors and not-for-profit booths, there’s plenty of shopping to do. Grab a delicious bite from one of the many delicious food vendors or take part in one of the many family-friendly activities. Don’t forget to check out the Festival Pirates-at-Large, who will be hosting exciting treasure hunts for children throughout the weekend, spend quality time with the festival mermaid and enjoy the festival circus. You might even catch a special appearance from Sir Pumpkin King!
