Coindre Hall Wetlands: A first Ever Ecological Presentation of Coindre Hall Park

Please join us for an evening of education and enlightenment!  The featured presenter will be David Jakim, MS,MA, Ecologist and President of the Hempstead Harbor Nature Sanctuary Group.  He’ll be giving insights and results of assessments on a range of important topics including:

• Over 100 species of birds and the designation by the National Audubon Society of ” Important area of global priority”
• The uniqueness of the park as a vital link, along with the Mill Waterfowl Sanctuary, to the greater Puppy Cove Wildlife Corridor
• The difference between a wetland and a nature preserve.
