Book Sale at Park Slope United Methodist Church

The Park Slope UMC Book Sale will expand to TWO WEEKENDS this year, offering readers twice the book-browsing and bargain-hunting opportunities. 

Book lovers of every age will discover treasures, priced at $1 or $2. Come peruse cutting-edge contemporary fiction, eye-dazzling art books, mysteries and histories, memoirs and essays. Families will find children’s classics, contemporary picture and chapter books, YA novels and graphic novels. Non-fiction titles from biography to how-to to cookbooks to special-interest surprises pack our tables and pews. For music and media fans, we have LPs, CDs, and DVDs.  

Entirely stocked through donations and staffed by enthusiastic volunteers, each Book Sale offers readers new reading horizons alongside well-loved favorites. 

Book donations will be accepted on premises on February 11 only, from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. For a first look at the best items, passionate book lovers can attend a Premium Preview on Friday, Feb. 24 ($25 admission). The sale is then free to the public Feb. 25-26 and March 4-5.
