BLOOM, a Candlelight Remembrance Concert with Belle Voci Intergenerational Choral Society

St. John’s Huntington is delighted to host Belle Voci Intergenerational Choral Society as they perform a Candlelight Remembrance concert as part of their BLOOM concert series on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 8pm, at St. John’s Huntington. The concert will be conducted by choral director Jennifer Scott Miceli, founder and artistic director of Belle Voci Choir. Tickets can be purchased on Belle Voci’s website: bellevociny.org or at the door.
This inspiring, healing performance takes place at historic St. John’s Episcopal Church, Huntington, renowned for its outreach ministries and richly diverse programs of cultural events. Belle Voci singers join with professional instrumentalists in this timeless musical offering that includes an evening Candlelight Remembrance Ceremony acknowledging cancer survivors, those living with cancer, and persons in memoriam.
Belle Voci is a intergenerational, philanthropic performing organization comprising professional singers and amateur singers with a common mission of supporting cancer prevention, cure, and catharsis through elevated and inspired choral performance and ceremony.
St. John’s Director of Music and Artist in Residence, Alex Pryrodny, has noted, “as we welcome Belle Voci back to our church setting, concert goers (on arrival) can expect to be invited to submit the names of loved ones to be read during the ceremony and to attend a Parish Hall reception following the concert. The evening will be a unique experience for attendees and the music will include works by McGlynn, Sorenson, Esmail, Säge and Gimon. We know director Jennifer Scott Miceli will create a moving program in support of cancer prevention and cure.”
Tickets are $30 general admission; however, tickets for Seniors and students with ID will be $20. Visit bellevociny.org for more info about this choir group and tickets. #
