
Birding Basics for the Whole Family

Just in time for spring migration, join the Sheldrake Environmental Center for their Birding Basics series. This class is designed for the whole family–it’s never too early to start! Sign up for one, two, or three sessions. This introduction to the hobby of birdwatching will provide you with information on identifying birds, the use of field guides and binoculars, and other resources to optimize your experience. Each week will end with a bird walk to apply what we’ve discussed and answer questions.
The dates are as follows (register for each separately):

Saturday, March 18 – Field Guides, Binoculars, Communication
Saturday, March 25 – Birdsong, Organizations, Further Resources
