Arts & Alzheimer’s Conference

Join us for The Long Island Museum’s 9th Annual Arts and Alzheimer’s Conference and discover the vast and enriching opportunities available for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss.
This FREE day-long conference will feature incredible presenters who will share their insight:
- Learn about Tilles Center for the Performing Arts’ Arts & Aging Programs and their collaboration with Dancing Classrooms
- Experience the Day By Day Project’s Memory Disco – a multi-sensory approach that uses music to create moments of joy, remembrance, and connection.
- Watch a live performance of “Dementia Man, An Existential Journey” – followed by a discussion with creator and performer Samuel A. Simon.
The conference is offered at no cost due to generous anonymous funding.
