Annual Italian Festival – Port Washington NY – 9/5/24 thru 9/8/24 John Michael Marino Lodge No. 1389

The John Michael Marino Lodge 1389, Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, located in Port Washington NY, presents their 43rd Italian Festival. The festival will be held at North Hempstead Beach Park (parking lot 2), located at 175 West Shore Road, in Port Washington from Thursday September 5th through Sunday September 8th. Hours on Thursday and Friday are 6 PM to 11 PM; Saturday from 2 PM to 11 PM; and Sunday from Noon to 9:00 PM.

Exciting rides, games, food trucks, the famous pasta and pastry tents, zeppole, live entertainment every night, including the Liverpool Shuffle on Friday night and the LI Rewind Band on Saturday night, carnival games, fireworks Saturday night, the Cadillac guys on Sunday, kids ride free Sunday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Pay-One-Price ride bracelets every night buy them in advance and save money – Pay-One-Price advance sale discount ends Thursday at 5 PM. Play, eat and have fun!

A large portion of the proceeds from the festival go towards college scholarships for local high school students, Italian heritage and culture activities at the library open to all, grants to local organizations such as the VFW, food pantry’s and local youth sports leagues and various national charities such as the Gift of Sight, Cooley’s Anemia, Alzheimer’s Research, and Cancer Research.  There is a $5 parking fee that helps defer the costs and enables the donations and scholarships. Once inside the entertainment and fireworks are free.
